Process - Advises coverage teams on risk factors associated with complex transactions / high risk industries and clauses imperative mitigating these. - Oversee due diligence process for prospective transaction and ensure emerging risk factors are appropriately addressed in the term sheet and credit application. - Participate in client meetings and provide guidance on key risk factors, acceptable structure and appropriate due diligence People - Guides a team of analyst whereby the transaction is analyzed appropriately in line with the credit policies and credit proposals are prepared to meet the internal standards. - Plan, anticipate and identify future capacity and skill needs of the department and pursue their fulfilment. - Cross-train and develop staff to achieve efficient resource utilization and deployment.
