The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking an intermediate Swift iOS Programmer to create high-quality training data for AI models. You will craft detailed coding prompts and responses focused on Swift, collaborate with AI researchers, develop training datasets, and help ensure models can address real-world programming challenges.
This role requires at least 20 hours per week and pays $12 USD per hour. The engagement is structured as part-time contract work and is available worldwide.

What You'll Do
You will use your professional Swift and iOS experience to produce clear, technically accurate examples for AI training. Your work should reflect the quality and practical considerations of commercial iPhone and iPad software.
- Write detailed prompts involving Swift programming challenges
- Create strong Swift code responses for AI training datasets
- Help train AI systems to understand and generate Swift code
- Collaborate with AI researchers on dataset development
- Address realistic programming problems in the iOS ecosystem
- Support the evaluation of model capability through high-quality examples
Requirements
Applicants should be highly proficient in Swift and have at least two years of experience related to Swift development. You should also be able to communicate clearly in English and demonstrate practical experience building iOS applications.
- At least two to three years of professional iOS development experience
- Strong proficiency in Swift
- Proficiency with SwiftUI and Objective-C for iOS development
- Strong experience building and publishing commercial-grade iPhone or iPad applications
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Additional programming languages are a plus
Preferred AI Training Experience
Previous work as an LLM trainer or AI data labeler is highly preferred. During the interview, be prepared to describe any experience creating training data, labeling or annotating datasets, or supporting AI and large language model projects.
- Prior LLM training experience is highly preferred
- Experience with AI data labeling or annotation is a strong advantage
- Experience creating or reviewing programming-focused training data is helpful
Pay, Schedule, and Application
