<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Job Purpose<br><br></strong>Emirates Flight Training is a modern, progressive department that utilises Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) methodology in all our courses and is one of the few full Evidence Based Training (EBT) operators worldwide. Through continuous professional development and standardisation, you can expect to be trained and developed in the most up to date training methodologies to ensure you meet the exacting standards required by Emirates.<br><br>As part of Emirates Airline’s continued growth, we are seeking experienced aviation professionals to join our Flight Training department in non-flying, ground-based roles as Synthetic Flight Examiner (SFE). This position is responsible for conducting pilot proficiency evaluations using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) and overseeing ground-based assessments in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates’ standards.<br><br><ul><li>Conduct regulatory and company-mandated proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs), in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates' training standards.</li><li>Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring consistency and objectivity in line with established benchmarks.</li><li>Complete and submit accurate and detailed examination reports and assessments using the electronic reporting system within prescribed timelines.</li><li>Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial or additional training as required to uphold safety and competency standards.</li><li>Provide detailed feedback to training management regarding pilot performance trends, systemic issues, or potential improvements in instructional methodology and training effectiveness.</li><li>Support training program development, course reviews, and other departmental initiatives related to simulator and ground-based pilot evaluation.<br><br></li></ul>Qualification<br><br><ul><li>Hold or have held a CPL Commercial Pilot License MPL Multicrew Pilot License or ATPL Airline Transport Pilot License</li><li>Experience Minimum 12 months as an active Examiner</li><li>Minimum 1500 hours flight time as a pilot on multipilot aeroplane</li><li>Advanced communication and leadership skills<br><br></li></ul>Salary & benefits<br><br>Annual basic salary of up to AED 423,360 (USD 115,265).<br><br><ul><li>Annual Transport Allowance Provided of AED 24,180 (USD 6,580)</li><li>Company-provided accommodation with utilities</li><li>Education allowance of AED 52,250 (USD 14,220) for primary and AED 79,750 (USD 21,715) for secondary education (up to 3 children)</li><li>Annual leave entitlement of 42 calendar days</li><li>Confirmed annual leave tickets for you and your dependents in Economy class, upgradeable to Business Class</li><li>Access to Emirates Platinum card offering exclusive retail, leisure and services discounts</li><li>Concessional travel benefits for you and eligible dependents</li><li>Provident (pension) scheme employer contribution</li><li>Comprehensive medical, life, and accident insurance, loss of medical license insurance</li><li>Eligibility for an annual profit share based on company performance<br><br></li></ul>Job Details<br><br>Role Level: Not Applicable Work Type: Internship Country: United Arab Emirates City: Dubai Company Website: http://www.emirates.com Job Function: Education & Teaching Company Industry/<br><br>Sector: Other<br><br>What We Offer<br><br><strong>About The Company<br><br></strong>Searching, interviewing and hiring are all part of the professional life.
