The role connects rail systems, civil infrastructure, stations, depots, operational environments, and external interfaces so that design, delivery, testing, commissioning, and readiness activities remain aligned. By managing interface registers, integration risks, requirements traceability, system reviews, and stakeholder coordination, the position helps reduce technical conflicts, improve operational certainty, and support successful railway delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the Systems Integration Management Plan and overall integration strategy for the railway project.Lead the coordination and integration of railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, SCADA, OCC, rolling stock, platform systems, depot systems, and associated infrastructure.Manage system interfaces between rail systems, civil works, stations, depots, operational teams, external stakeholders, and project delivery packages.Establish, maintain, and monitor system interface registers to ensure all interfaces are identified, assigned, tracked, coordinated, and resolved.Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver integrated and consistent system design outputs across design, tender, construction, testing, and commissioning stages.Ensure effective integration between infrastructure, stations, operational systems, depots, airport-related interfaces, and external systems where applicable.Coordinate with operators, authorities, contractors, consultants, specialist system providers, and operational stakeholders on integration requirements and interface resolution.Facilitate systems integration workshops, technical coordination meetings, design reviews, interface sessions, and issue resolution discussions.Support Systems Engineering activities including requirements management, interface definition, verification, validation, traceability, and integration assurance.Work with Configuration and Requirements Management teams to maintain alignment across system baselines, interface definitions, requirements flow‑down, and change control.Identify integration risks, interface conflicts, operational constraints, technical gaps, and delivery issues that may affect system performance or readiness.Develop and follow up mitigation strategies for unresolved interfaces, integration risks, design inconsistencies, testing gaps, and stakeholder alignment issues.Lead system integration reviews to confirm that interfaces, operational requirements, safety obligations, and performance expectations are properly addressed.Monitor integration progress and support timely resolution of technical and operational issues across project teams.Support testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, SIT, integrated testing, trial operations, reliability demonstration, and operational readiness.Ensure all systems integration work complies with project requirements, railway standards, safety requirements, operational objectives, and approved procedures.Support construction and delivery teams by clarifying system interfaces, implementation responsibilities, access constraints, and integration requirements during execution.Provide technical leadership, reporting, and decision support to project management on systems integration progress, risks, and key dependencies.Ideal ProfileBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from a recognized university.Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in rail projects, rail operations, railway systems, or major transportation infrastructure.Strong understanding of railway systems including signalling, communications, traction power, OCC, SCADA, rolling stock, platform systems, and depot systems.Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and complex system interfaces on large infrastructure or rail projects.Experience in Systems Engineering processes, interface management methodologies, integration assurance, requirements management, verification, validat
