ResponsibilitiesIdentifies development needs of Nationals, Graduate Trainees, National Trainees (NT), Admin and other stakeholders who are in target areas after completing training programmes. Ensures training programmes are meeting the identified needs for Graduate Trainees and NT. Responsible for assigned courses and coordinates with specific national trainees at various levels. Ensures that the training is carried out to achieve levels of competence set by target departments in accordance with current job requirements as well as future development plans. Evaluates development programmes and plans of UAE National trainees and employees to ensure they meet the specific needs of individuals and departments. Conducts regular review meetings to monitor progress and periodically reviews development plans to check their relevance and identify further actions to take for Graduate Trainees in both Operational and Corporate sides. Co‑confers with management, supervisors and related mentors or individuals to evaluate the trainees’ progress against agreed outcomes, gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and business initiatives. Coordinates with EGA Scholarship team regarding the list of sponsored students for Work Placement, Internship and Summer Programmes. Coordinates with areas to receive the development plan of students for Work Placement and Internship trainees. Co‑ordinates and collaborates with other entities whenever required for training students within the company at different levels of education such as Job Shadow, job orientation and day‑out presentation. Identifies and takes action on TCA for external courses for Graduate Trainees whenever required. Creates Purchase Requisitions (PR) in the SAP system for approved external courses. Actively coordinates and interacts with business areas and graduate trainees towards GT engagement and satisfaction. Organises familiarisation tours for Corporate and Operation sides, and customises tours for individual Graduate Trainees as requested. Attracts UAE Nationals through attending career fairs, exhibitions and events organised by Recruitment and other areas. Coordinates with the Business Partner department to solve concerns of Graduate Trainees and escalates as required. Coordinates with the Main Training Centre to ensure that all Graduate Trainees attending the Future Leader courses submit assignments on time. Coordinates with Salary Admin to ensure that Graduate Trainees receive increment and other allowances. Coordinates with Employee Relations for cases related to Graduate Trainees joining National Military Service and any other concerns. Coordinates with Corporate Communication Team on a monthly basis to post activities on EGA social media. Coordinates for Summer Training of UAE Nationals. Streamlines with Recruitment department to ensure Graduate Trainees are allocated against their qualifications. Communicates with Recruitment Team regarding Graduate Trainees who will join EGA to request their profiles and joining details for further action. Ensures Graduate Trainees and areas attend a meeting before releasing them for National Military Service to complete necessary documents and processes. Coordinates with Business Partners, Employee Relations and area of Graduate Trainees in terms of resignation for further actions. Coordinates with Performance Management team whenever required. Coordinates with other sections of the team to ensure GTs move into their roles seamlessly. Prepares reports and data analysis upon request by other areas. Monitors other identified nationals in administrative roles in their area. Supports other identified nationals in administrative roles in their progress review meetings. Identifies Graduate Trainees in different areas to see if they are against budget or replacement. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field; higher qualification preferred. Minimum Experience - 2–4 years experience in relevant industry / operational area.
