Responsibilities

  • Provide synchronous and asynchronous support to learners in virtual training programs
  • Monitor Slack channels to answer learner questions promptly
  • Facilitate breakout rooms during live lecture sessions
  • Conduct up to six individual office hours via Zoom
  • Grade learner submissions of exercises and projects within seven days
  • Submit weekly write-ups summarizing accomplishments, challenges, and learner insights
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and mandatory onboarding sessions

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, mechanical, or technical operations
  • Foundational knowledge of blueprint reading and precision measurement tools
  • Hands-on exposure to structures, assembly, integration, or composites
  • Working knowledge of safety and quality standards (e.g., 5S, OSHA, FOD)
  • Experience supporting adult learners, tutoring, mentoring, or teaching
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, and Microsoft Office
