The Role

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will support instructors and learners throughout online educational programs by assisting with lessons, learning activities, student communication, and academic administration. You will help learners stay engaged, understand course materials, complete assignments, and make consistent progress toward their learning goals. This part-time, fully remote opportunity offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to collaborate with educators and learners internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support instructors during online lessons, workshops, tutorials, and learning activities.
  • Assist students with course materials, assignments, exercises, and general academic questions.
  • Monitor learner participation, attendance, engagement, and progress throughout programs.
  • Provide individualized support to learners who require additional clarification or guidance.
  • Prepare, organize, and distribute lesson materials, worksheets, presentations, and digital resources.
  • Communicate with students and instructors regarding schedules, assignments, deadlines, and learning activities.
  • Maintain accurate student records, attendance information, progress notes, and administrative documentation.
  • Assist with assessments, quizzes, feedback collection, and student progress reporting.
  • Help create an inclusive and positive learning environment that encourages participation and confidence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional work experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of educational support, classroom assistance, learner engagement, and academic coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain concepts clearly and provide patient, supportive guidance to learners.
  • Comfortable using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Google Classroom, Microsoft Office, and other online learning platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining student records, assignments, schedules, and educational documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple students, tasks, and priorities in a fully remote environment.
