This role is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, support sales growth, and improve customer engagement across retail, dealer, distributor, and trade channels.</p><p><br></p><p>The Trade Marketeer will act as a key link between Sales and Marketing, ensuring that marketing activities effectively support commercial objectives while maintaining consistent brand presence across all customer touchpoints. The role is highly execution-focused, with approximately 80–90% execution and 10–20% strategy.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What You Will Be Doing</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and execute trade marketing plans and channel-specific programs aligned with sales and marketing objectives.</li><li>Support product launches and promotional campaigns across various trade channels.</li><li>Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.</li><li>Ensure consistent brand presentation across showrooms, retail outlets, exhibitions, and dealer locations.</li><li>Develop and manage POS materials, display concepts, sample boards, signage, and merchandising solutions.</li><li>Monitor and maintain brand standards across all customer touchpoints.</li><li>Coordinate showroom updates, visual merchandising initiatives, and display enhancements.</li><li>Collaborate closely with Sales to develop promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.</li><li>Prepare sales and marketing support materials, including presentations, catalogues, brochures, and collateral.</li><li>Support key accounts, distributors, dealers, and strategic partners with marketing initiatives.</li><li>Plan and coordinate participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, product launches, and industry events.</li><li>Manage event logistics, branding, promotional materials, and supplier coordination.</li><li>Measure campaign effectiveness and prepare post-event performance reports.</li><li>Track marketing performance, ROI, sales data, and campaign results.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking.</li><li>Manage relationships with agencies, printers, fabricators, contractors, and event organizers.</li><li>Support budget management and ensure cost-effective campaign execution.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p><p>Some of the key competencies required for the role include:</p><p><strong>Functional</strong></p><ul><li>Strong understanding of trade marketing, merchandising, and channel marketing principles.</li><li>Experience working with traders, dealers, distributors, and retail channels.</li><li>Hands-on experience managing trade exhibitions, industry fairs, and promotional campaigns.</li><li>Ability to develop and execute brand visibility and merchandising initiatives.</li><li>Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and marketing data.</li><li>Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining execution quality and timelines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Behavioural</strong></p><ul><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Proactive and hands-on approach to execution.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities.</li><li>Collaborative team player capable of coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.</li><li>Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Our Ideal Match</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.</li><li>4–6 years of Trade Marketing experience.</li><li>Background within the building materials industry is strongly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with dealer networks, distributors, traders, and retail channels.</li><li>Proficiency in English.
