Role Description The Transport and Fleet Coordinator (Immediate Joiner) is a full-time, on-site role based in Ras Al Khaimah. The role is responsible for coordinating daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and transport activities. The coordinator monitors vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records for all fleet activities.
The position involves close communication with drivers, internal teams, and customers to address transport-related inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high service levels. The coordinator also supports continuous improvement of transport processes, tracks key performance indicators, and escalates operational challenges as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and maintenance coordination.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to work with drivers, internal stakeholders, and external clients.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, with the ability to optimize transport processes and meet performance targets.
- Experience with transport or logistics software, basic data analysis, and reporting on fleet performance.
- Knowledge of UAE road regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements for commercial vehicles.
- Ability to work on-site in Ras Al Khaimah and respond quickly to operational issues as an immediate joiner.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in fleet coordination, transport planning, or logistics within industrial or construction-related sectors is an advantage.
