UAT-TEST Passenger Attendant

Area of Responsibility

Assist passengers at Departure Welcome area, Departure Immigration Smart Gate, Dufry Shop Exit point Arrival Immigration Smart Gate, Arrival Immigration, Common Arrival (Ground Floor), Arrival Bag Hall.

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this role is to support and guide all passengers in the related areas (Departure welcome area, Departure Immigration Smart Gate, Dufry Shop exit point, Arrival Immigration Smart Gate, Arrival Immigration, Common Arrival (Ground Floor), Arrival Bag Hall in regards to their needs and proper channel.

Key Responsibilities

General:
    • Display excellent customer service skills, team work and understanding to achieve customer satisfaction. Strive with the common goal to avoid complaints and achieve recognition. Ensure excellent discipline and grooming standards are displayed at all times while representing Sharjah Aviation Services in uniform. Always adhere to the set service expectations and procedures to ensure passengers are handled in a safe, friendly, efficient and professional manner.
      • The timely and efficient passenger support to be provided, at all times, be carried out with use of agreed Standard Operating Procedures and in a safe and secure working environment in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Local Airport Authorities and Sharjah Aviation Services mission statement.
          Assist:
            • Greet, and provide assistance to inbound and outbound passengers in a courteous and professional manner at the Departure and Arrival assigned duty areas.
              • Attend to the needs of passengers who may require special assistance as a result of their age or physical condition and guide them to the right personnel.
                • Other duties will be assigned from time to time.
                      Floor Walking:
                        • Meet and greet potential customers in a professional manner while maintain focus on delivering superior customer service.
                          • Arrange porterage services wherever required.
                            • Other duties will be assigned as required.
                                Immigration Departure and Arrival:
                                  • Guide the passengers to right counter / Smart Gate for related visa assistance.
                                    • Other duties as assigned from time to time.
                                        Arrival BaggageHall:
                                          • Help passengers through proper guidance with regards to their specific baggage collection point.
                                            • Reply in a swift manner to all passenger queries related to baggage.
