Workshop Interiors Mechanic B (AMC)

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To carry out and support a wide range of aircraft base maintenance activities such as, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification in accordance with approved maintenance data, ensuring that aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs scheduled base maintenance (C-checks, modifications, repairs) on aircraft in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.
  • Performs unscheduled base maintenance including troubleshooting and defect rectification on aircraft in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.
  • Ensures that all documentation including work cards, technical logs books, defect rectification and modifications are correctly completed in accordance with company policy, process and procedure
  • Ensures all maintenance is carried out using the correct tools, equipment, and procedures as per the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and other approved documentation.
  • Raises Parts Requests for defects as required, ensuring that all associated spares are ordered, and that AMOS is accurate and correct.
  • Supports other flydubai maintenance events including line maintenance, minor maintenance and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.
  • Supports aircraft movements, including towing, marshalling, docking, refueling and engine ground runs.
  • Reports any issues affecting safety, quality, or performance to appropriate departments.
  • Promotes the Safety Management System (SMS) and ensures a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
  • Promotes teamwork and clear communication between shifts, departments, and supports functions to ensure efficient workflow and minimal disruptions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma
  • Formal aeronautical maintenance training
  • Fluent in English
  • 1 years should be from the aeronautical industry covering a combination of experience in tasks related to aircraft or component or workshop maintenance
  • Years with qualifications: 2 - 4 years

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
