Workshop Operative - AMC

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To provide operational, housekeeping, material-handling, and logistical support across assigned workshop areas, including but not limited to the Composite, Structures, Paint, Engraving & Decal Bay, Hydraulic, Machine, Interiors, and Wash Bay Workshops, in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists technicians, mechanics, certifying staff, and other authorised personnel with workshop support activities as instructed.
  • Prepares work areas and arranges the tools, equipment, materials, and consumables required for assigned activities.
  • Supports the safe movement, loading, unloading, and positioning of components, equipment, materials, and workshop items.
  • Assists with workshop activities, including but not limited to component and equipment cleaning, carpet removal and installation, galley cart cleaning, and preparation of items for maintenance.
  • Handles components, tools, materials, and equipment carefully to prevent damage, contamination, or loss of identification.
  • Maintains the cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping of workshops, storage areas, wash areas, and other assigned work locations.
  • Keeps walkways, access routes, work areas, and emergency equipment locations clear of obstructions, loose items, and foreign object debris.
  • Cleans tools, equipment, machinery, and work areas following activities and returns items to their designated storage locations.
  • Assists with the arrangement, identification, movement, and disposal of materials, consumables, workshop supplies, and waste in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Reports hazards, spills, damaged items, unsafe conditions, or other unusual observations promptly to the relevant authorised personnel.
  • Attends required training and safety briefings and performs assigned activities in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and instructions from authorised personnel.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in a workshop, industrial, or aviation support environment is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office preferred.
  • Years with qualifications: 0 - 2 years
  • UAE Driving Licence preferred

Isr Requirements

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
